ISO 12800 can sometimes save the day, leopard photo

Maybe the photographer is tasty too?

I was staying at a lodge/hotel in Kenya during a safari tour, the leopard was fed there every night - not sure if that was wise or even legal on the part of the owners of that lodge but I took photos anyway.

Before the leopard came It became so dark even ISO 6400 was too slow to freeze the movement of the cat. I had to go to 12800 which was enough for around 1/40 to 1/60. Shot in RAW, heavily color corrected (they had weak greenish lights aiming at the cat), the lens I used was the legacy 50-200, manual focusing on Pen-F.

After dinner the cat just went back to the wilderness...

Motion bluring away to the forest, only 1/30s at ISO12800

Olympus PEN-F
