Sony A77ii vs Sony A6400 high ISO

This may go on my blog review of the A6400 but thought readers here would find this informative, especially as to whether aps-c sensors (or really, the entire imagine engine) has improved since the A77ii.

The test scene:

All shot RAW, imported into Lightroom with no other adjustments.

Close crops of the head as we go from ISO 6400 to 25,600

ISO6400, A77ii and then A6400:

Next, 12,800, A77ii and then A6400:

Now, 25,600:

Next round:

Same series, but now I cropped from a shadow area, and I lifted the shadows by +75 in lightroom. Consider this a bit of a dynamic range/ISO invariance test

ISO 6400:

A77ii ISO 6400

A6400 ISO 6400

A77ii ISO 12800

A6400 ISO 12800

A77ii ISO 25,600

A6400 ISO 25,600

I'll let the sample images stand without comment.

If anybody is interested in seeing a test of the A6400 real time tracking:
