Willet (?) with the RX10 IV and Topaz A.I. Gigapixel

Taking a beach walk and found a shore bird which I think is a Willet. Hoping one of the bird ID experts can confirm or correct . . .

This the normal 600mm BIF shot from the RX10 IV.  Just not enough reach for any close ups for printing as the bird was too far away and moving very quickly.

Downloaded a trial version of Topaz A.I. Gigapixel to test how useful it might be for such an application.

The next four shots are upsized files processed with the standard Topaz settings but cropped to a 1350mm view (resulted in a 15MP file which prints very well).

Crop of the previous shot . . .

Crops of three other shots . . .

These are just a quick first pass at the software without any real study of options or settings.

Seems like a really interesting piece of software for anyone who "can never get enough reach".

Thanks for looking . . .
