Couldn't agree more with the proposal.

However, I notice no one has bothered to mention the terrific capacity of the Nikon superzooms to produce excellent macro.

This would come into the discussions I'm sure.

..this is where having a dedicated superzoom forum can help us both understand and evaluate the superzooms from all brands..

..and here's a short list of possible superzooms currently, such as Kodak AZ901, Leica V-Lux 3, Olympus Stylus SP-100, Fuji X-S1, Panasonic FZ2500, Sony RX10 IV, Canon SX70, Nikon P1000 (and other's)..

..currently, if we are seeking informations on different brands of superzooms, we would need to forum hop from one to another..

..and if we need to find and discuss about what softwares others are using (as an example) for their superzooms, it's really a hassle, and do we really need to do all the cross postings(?)..

..there is a "need" to have dedicated discussions and forums for..

1. Compact Talk Forum

2. Superzoom Talk Forum

..currently we do not have these forums available, and we "need" them..

..thanks for commenting, and happy shooting..
