Newly acquired D7500 needs a cheaper companion
1

Thanks in advance for some help in coming to a decision in acquiring another Nikon body. I recently traded an E-M1 and the PL100-400 for a D7500 and the Sigma 100-400 (low light considerations). I kept the G85 and several zooms covering view angles from Lumix 7-14 to 35-100 (interopeerating stabilization body & lens), does also include the M.Zuiko 12-40.

Meanwhile I find the D200 is just a bit very way back when, I would like to replace it with something less old.

Go for a D90 (under US$200 and looking like best bang for the buck),

or a D7100 (over US$500, and this would have to wait),

or consider the D5xxx line? I'd miss the ergonomic similarities (a.o. 2 command wheels).

It is to serve as the 'general shooter' with an available 18-200/3.5-5.6 G VRII.
