EOS RP for Astrophotography ?
1

This is the cheapest and lightest FF DSLR available, and would be a nice travel FF DSLR. and the limitations compared to the 6D, 6D2 or R do not affect astrophotography. The smaller battery might be a limitation, but for $20 a LP-E17 dummy with USB power supply to use a power bank is available from Aliexpress or Ebay.

It has no slapping mirror, but how does the EVF (or live view) work when pointed ay the stars? I assume an EF to T-ring adapter to a telescope works (with RF/EF adapter) ?

And does it have an interval timer, so frames can be made without a cable release (actually an external interval timer) ?

Does somebody have AP experience with this camera ?
