Focuses very snappily.  While you can't shoot in burst mode, the shutter release button is so responsive you can get a pretty fast sequence of shots.

Images with this lens can be cropped to a very small percentage of the original content and retain a heck of a lot of detail.  Witness the next two images taken through my double paned kitchen window.  (Note:  For best images you're not supposed to have a filter on a lens and in addition to the one on mine, I shot through dirty double paned windows with internal reflections that really cut down on contrast and saturation,

It's the first lens I put on this camera that I have really enjoyed!

Also used it last week indoors under ceiling fluorescents and it focused just as snappily.  I loved the way it isolated the subjects with really nice bokeh.

Original jpg image (forget to return camera to jpg + raw after needing jpg only for hdr) sized down to 20%.
