X-H1 slow to display image after shot taken

I'm long time Fujifilm user, since the S3Pro. I've always used the image display feature where the image is immediately displayed on the rear LCD (or EVF) after the image is taken. It's always been instantaneous - S3Pro, S5Pro, X100, X-E1, X-E2, X-Pro2. However my X-H1 has a hesitation in displaying the image after the shot is taken. Sometimes I wonder if it's going to show at all and then, wait for it, wait a bit more and there it is.

I know that half pressing the shutter button will cancel the image display. I've never had a meaningful delay with any other camera.

My X-H1 is in boost mode. This  happens even with Single shot mode.

I wish the image display had a delete feature. All one can do is punch in zoom to review focus. Pressing play does show the image instantly where I can then delete the image if out of focus.

This is something a firmware update could fix I'm sure. I'm a bit surprised about this niggle though.
