Lets not be delusional.
The M6 is not pocketable, its almost identical to the M3 in terms of size. It will fit in a big coat pocket (like a parka) but there is no way its going to fit in jeans even with the 22mm on it. Even the original M which was smaller there is no way it would fit in any pants pocket even with the 22mm.
How big are your pockets ?
You want a pocketable camera - its your smartphone.
I want a better camera than mine, not a smartphone. A pocketable camera not for jeans, but for a jacket. I know that maybe M6 + objective is already too big. My G7X is pocketable, but I want something more.
My ideal camera would be M6 + 11-22mm, but all this pocketable size. It's doesn't exist. So maybe a m4/3....
The smallest, most pocketable ILC with a 16-35mm UWA type lens is the M100 + 11-22mm, at any sensor size, even 1", not just M43s.
And the M100 + 22mm f/2 is also the worlds smallest ILC with a 35mm f/2.8-3 equ. lens set-up.
The M6 is more advanced and gives you physical dials for exposure parameters, but is a bit larger, pricier, and doesn't gain any IQ or AF advantage.

The M3 has the first Canon 24mp non-DPAF sensor, which only appeared on very few models:
-Canon 750D & 760D (T6i & T6s) (discontinued)
-Canon 2000D & 1500D (T7)
That's it. It doesn't have the very high base-ISO DR of the later 80D DPAF sensor and naturally a slow AF sensor, but is a match for the new one in nearly everything, like resolution, high ISO performance, colours, speed and identical 1080p video quality. So you basically lose AF speed and a bit if 100 ISO DR.
