Bees In Flight with the A6400
38

Tried the A6400 with the 90mm macro on busy bees .

If I could keep the bee in the viewfinder, the camera did not disappoint at all. The tracking was quite good . I used flexible spot medium and tracking flexible spot .    I focused on the bee while it was on a flower, then did my best to track it as it flew from flower to flower. Very happy with the results from the A6400.  It made this type of photography fun again.

Also gave it a try with the A7Riii and the 90mm just because I wanted to see the difference in auto focus . Needless to say the A6400 was the winner. Got some with the A7Riii, but nothing to compare with the 6400.

I will note that I also tried the 100-400 on the A7RIII for bees in flight.   I seemed to do better with the 100-400 on the A7RIII camera than with the 90mm macro.
