d3 sensor cleaning - my old Eclipse E2 leaves "cleaning lines"

I just got a Visible Dust Quasar Plus 7X Sensor Loupe and inspected my sensor for the first time with this loupe before and after cleaning my sensor.  I used Eclipse E2 (recommended for the D3 sensor) with a wand that has some cleaning material wrapped around one end.  I put a drop of the E2 on the wand and then wiped the wand across the long end of the sensor.   The wand is 24 mm across.

I've never seen these "cleaning lines" before, becasue they really aren't visible to the naked eye.

Even after two wipes, I still had cleaning lines, including some new ones.

So, is it OK to leave these cleaning lines?

Does Eclipse E2 (or other clenaing fluid) go bad after time?

Since the Eclipse E2 bottle is almost empty, should I simply buy another bottle of E2?  Or are there newer/better sensor cleaning products.

I have never cleaned the sensor with a dry wipe.
