Disabling Touch Screen for Image Playback?

I got a 5D Mark IV a few months ago and like the touch screen for many things, but I find that I am changing the view on the rear LCD during playback mode. I prefer to see the RGB histogram in the top half and the image data below the image. I often discover that the view has changed to any of the alternative shooting information screens apparently because I inadvertently touched the LCD. Is there any way to disable the touch screen during playback and only use the joystick to change the shooting information?  I have tried going into the menu and setting the Multi Function Lock to disable the touchscreen (manual page 90). But this doesn't seem to disable it in the playback mode because I can still move the views around by touch. Any other suggestions?
