Handheld panorama with RX100

Conventional wisdom dictates that in order to take stitched panoramas, the camera has to be mounted to a tripod in order to ensure that images are identically aligned in the horizontal plane.

I have no idea how this became so accepted, because it's nonsense.

Here's an example of a handheld panorama taken with my RX100 IV. It's a stitch of 8 indivdiudal portrait shots taken at 70 mm equivalent, in manual exposure. Edited first in capture one to taste, then stitched using Photomerge (photoshop tool). I have plenty of other examples, equally succesful.

Prize for anyone that can find a stitch

I love being able to do this so easily. Completely revolutionises my use of my RX100 for landscape photography.
