I'm another RP owner - no issue for me with the shutter or EVF.

I do see what the OP was probably referring to with the EVF. If you have your eye too far back from the EVF, or if you don't have your eye centered, there is some optical distortion in the edges and corners. I just consider this a guide to proper placement. When I see that, I know I need to position my eye closer and/or more centered. As an eyeglass wearer, I did have for some reason a harder time adjusting the diopter wheel to the best spot for me than for any DSLR I've ever owned. Once dialed in, it all works great.

I have noticed that when holding the lens with my left hand and using my right hand to tap the rear screen I kept turning off the screen. I've had to make it a point to reach up from below so as not to shut off the screen.

It's a great camera, and I do notice the minor but definite sharpness boost over my 20mp 6D.
