AFAIK, on-chip ADC sensors suffer from heat problems more that the good old ones.

Now that makes for a really good laugh.

My theory that the 6DII may not have on chip ADC, appears to be holding pretty well now.

Except that the 5DIV was a great improvement over the non on-board ADC types. The DR lost from the R's continuous read out is trivial in comparision to the gain from non-onboard-ADC to onboard ADC sensors.

You know, those good old ones, I noted, when Canon did ADC on the 80D, 5DIV, that's when the colors really went south for me.

I'm still shooting it (Canon), but, hrmmmm.
