Waiting for my used m100 to arrive. Have been shooting Nikon DSLRs for a few years and like many I wanted to try exactly the promise of DSLR IQ in a much smaller package.

I thought initially about point & shoots (e.g. sony rx100 iii/v). I liked the viewfinder and the fact that I wouldn't go down the rabbit hole of lens searching.

Then I saw the m100's effective implementation of touch screen controls (lacking from the abovementioned P&Ss) and this wowed me over. That's because eventually ease of use is what (for me) makes or breaks using a camera daily.

Apart from the kit 15-45, I am really looking forward to trying my Nikon glass through a G-type adapter. Trial candidates are my Tamron 18-200, Nikon 18-35, Nikon 28-80G, Tokina 35 macro and a Voigtlander 58 (though I might need a different adapter for the V). I know I will be fully manual, but I hope focus peaking will help. Has anyone tried adapting Nikon glass in the m100? I couldn't find much info through Google.

Great review Ben and I hope I end up feeling like you about this camera.

I have used Nikon and many other brands of glass on a M3 and M6. The results are excellent, but I am not a fan of the M's focus peaking function. For precise focusing, I prefer the magnification feature. That works fine, although perhaps a little slower. Enjoy the camera.
