Sorry, there is no special sauce but since many have asked about my processing technique, here's a description of what I do and the tools I use. May you make good use it - and feel free to adapt it.

I've written an outline of the method I use which most should be able to adapt provided you process colour from raw then continue with a colour tiff in Nik suite Colour FX and Silver FX until output as jpg. Tonal contrast in CFX and High Structure in SFX are the important steps. You can use CFX & SFX in reverse order if you find it easier to judge the effects - I find it best as written.
