It is sad to see what the internet forum have become in the latest years with those keyboard warriors spilling their ignorance around.

There is no malaria in the savannah (where I advised the OP to go). It is too dry for the mosquitoes that transmit this disease to be there.

There is however the tse-tse fly. For this insect, there is no effective repellent. Only long sleeves and trousers, protected necks and a hat that covers your ears.

It is a completely different thing if you want to visit the tropical jungle, where malaria thrives, but there are no good photo opportunities there for the average amateur photographer.

Go relieve your anger somewhere else, folk.
