Just use some common sense and don't turn the can upside down and shoot liquid propellent into your camera.

Note, for fun, I did this very thing to an *istD a couple of years ago. There were no ill effects on the camera after the frost melted.

Do NOT do this.  Do NOT use canned gas.  There are usually contaminants in any that I've seen.  Not recommended by anyone for cleaning sensors.
