Thanks Alex. The only problem I may have is actually getting hold of one of those kits since camera stores in our area are almost non-existent, and the ones still in business don’t carry much Pentax stuff at all. have to try Amazon i guess.

I use these Pentax lollipops too, and I noticed that DPreview displayed a few week ago a video showing a technician in a pro service station using them to clean mirrorless devices from other brands (M43 I think).

These Pentax cleaning sets are very efficient, and very safe as you just gently press them on the sensor; I believe they use static electricity of their rubber material to gather dust which is then wiped off by the sticky paper sheets.

I bought mine 3 years ago directly from Ricoh/Pentax on-line store, as it was cheaper than from Amazon. I used it once or twice a year on my K3, K30 and also on my Panasonic GX8, G7 and GM1, and I still have around half the sheets left for further cleaning sessions.

As regards Pentax cameras, the built-in piezo electric sensor cleaner is efficient in high end bodies like K5 and K3 (and I guess K1 or KP); my Panasonic cameras use the same technology.

But in entry level Pentax like K30/K50, and probably K-S2/K70, there is no such feature, they use the IBIS to shake the sensor, and it is obviously less efficient.
