Concerned, the 14-2 f1.4, there is countless possibilities: astro, events, weddings, action in extreme sports, etc. A lens that no one ever seen before. It will not be cheap, but i'd kill to have one.

Fair enough, but for me to really get interested in the EOS R, I want to see lenses like the Nikon 14-30/4 available, rather than having to adapt my 16-35/4. I think the adapter and its performance is a great job by Canon, but for how long do I have to rely on it? [The adapter is not realizing all the benefits of the more compact mirrorless bodies - certainly not the RP.]
