Have you noticed the base plate for the EOS RP that extends the grip and thus accommodates an extra finger? Canon or third party, I would buy one for my M50.

YES, I have noticed it.

(Would you buy something like it for EOS M50?)

NO. If I want to have a better grip, I would buy into FF or 7D-like camera, not EOS M system.

The RP is a FF so that would still pose the problem (obviously), and you don't actually own a M50 do you?

He owns a M5.

So how is the question relevant to you or your equipment? It's not.

I think the differences between the M5 and M50 aren't that relevant either for answering the question if you would like a grip or not.

Thanks for your defense for me.

Yes, I have M5 as well as M as my profile shows my gears. I do not want to attach the extension grip to neither M5 or M because I am fine even with EF 24-105L adapted. Maybe yes for something like 100-400.

Regarding RP, I would like to have the grip with the body when the extended body can be put into my bag.
