I like the first image of the Llanberis tree .. it really shades the second one, making it look less punchy.

And I prefer the pano of the mountain (I don't recognise it ...) though I think you might try to make the foreground slightly less magenta to separate it a little more and to give it more definition.

And as for paper ... my suggestions to try are NST Bright White (matt art paper) and a semi-gloss/lustre paper like PF Lustre (though I'm currently chewing through Permajet Oyster!) for those pics where detail is more important. I've certainly been using the NST much more recently.

I've not had much luck with the baryta papers - but that could just be my technique with them. That may simply show that it is possible to have too many papers available for use and just not being able to master the foibles of any of them.

I'm not sure which photographers actually do this, but many will print out an image and "leave it to mature" on their wall for at least a week before deciding if they like it or not. My equivalent is on a large table, though I need to keep turning the prints form time to time!

Enjoy

With me getting the printer just before Christmas, I was able to get all the Fotospeed test packs as presents from family.

I printed and got the custom icc profiles for every paper. The NST bright white is my favourite so far, the texture and colours look great. Have also used the baryta for the first tree image, the colour and contrast is really nice. Think I will print that one at A3+ when get some.

The pano was just one imagine with the 14mm, it’s looking at Tryfan from lake Ogwen.
