Re: 3D vision seems to come and go

Ya got me started. Yes, we can digitize any older film stock. And display it via projection methods. LG company had a whole petition of stereographers who asked for at least one new model of the latest polarized version ( not that costly to add) but they decided that it was likely not profitable. Might even turn off some folk, people are funny. Oh as to my friend in Florida Sandy. I would say that getting closer is better for stereo effect. As in these two pairs. Parallel and Cross. Me, I can do either. But parallel viewing seems more natural. Eyes actually relax. It takes more practice for many though....I have digitized some of my slides. But not in a bulk way. And all -I mean all- require cleanup after the fact. So I will likely not live to do it all...and then. Mostly family stuff. Not all that time relevant. And there are so many of us out there,,,who shot stereo in the '50s and '60s and our heritage is waiting to be kind of rescued. I will see who in the family is left to take them on....so yeah, here is the lovely lady I got to pose. I add this- people shots are the most enduring. This lady might be a grandma by now...but time does march on.. loved 3-D. And love it yet.

Sandy, CROSS pair. (1957) Boynton Beach Florida.
