Thanks for the info and the 3D photo.

I agree that you need a good viewer for viewing 3D. I use the cross eye method but it can be difficult to get this right and if the objects in each photo are too distance apart then it's more difficult. 3D images of people can look like cardboard cutouts sometimes.

I was thinking recently that they should produce a 3D camera that has two view finders (one for each eye) then a way of moving the lens inwards on he camera so that the main object that you want in 3D would not appear to be doubled (I think they call it ghosting effect). That should produce the ideal 3D photo.
