A tweaked version of the 85mm lens was released, with better AF and didn't lock up his M3. But the updated lens still use the same body, so no one can tell by just looking at it.
The only sure way to get the new updated lens is to order it from Oct 2018 via Yongnuo's official eBay / Amazon site (listed at Frost's video).
Thanks for the info. I think for Canon users the 85mm USM is a better lens in the long run.
You can get it refurbished from Canon on sale for as low as $240.
On Ebay its new for $300 now, but they do have once in a while 15-20% off bringing it down to @250 for a new one.
