Nikon D700 Issue w/Camera Control Pro 2 and Windows Vista or XP

Hey guys,

I am having problems with a Nikon D700 I've got recently, Windows detects the camera well but the Nikon camera control pro 2 don't recognize the camera. I upgraded CCP2 to version 2.19.0 but with the same results: CCP2 says No camera detected!

I am using a laptop running on Vista 32 bit. Windows Vista (and XP) can recognized the camera with no problems when I connect USB but CCP2 but can't detect the camera!

By the way I have the same problem on another laptop Running on XP and Nikon CCP 2.3

However the camera connects fine on another computer running on Windows 7 and CCP 2.28 but I need to use it with the laptop running on Vista! Which can't be upgraded to CCP 2.28.0 the latest version available.

Camera firmware was updated to the latest available 1.04/1.03

Does anyone had a similar experience with a happy ending?

Thank you,

Adrian
