FZ1000 blur: normal or bad copy?

very soft on the left side

As you can see, faces look very soft on the left side.
I've never noticed this issue, that only occurs at about 30-45 mm focal length (FF equivalent) and focusing on distant objects, infinity or so, especially wide open (things get better stopping down).
Otherwise the camera iS amazing, the issue is hardly noticeable using different apertures or focal lenghts, but this time it made me look bad in front of my local tennis club.
Should I consider this performance  in the range of normal manufacturing tolerance or is my Panny a bad copy?
