Then why not to do it in the phone? If the IQ doesn't matter so much that not good stitching is ok, then phone can do it very well.

Sorry I wasn't clear, I meant that get the images that you take with your camera to your phone/tablet, and then use there some of the many applications for the stitching. You get far better results than any camera built-in or even the phone camera applications softwares does.

Just remember, smartphone or tablet is nothing more than a computer with a cellular network capability.

That is why it is nice when you can:

1. Turn camera On and hit Playback
2. Mark the pictures you want to get on the phone by pressing REC on them
3. Press OK and choose "Share marked pictures"
4. Tap WiFi symbol in camera top left corner
5. Pickup your phone/tablet
6. Open Olympus Image Share
7. Wait 3-5 seconds for automatic connection
8. Accept the transfer of the marked pictures to phone
9. Wait images to be downloaded to phone/tablet
10. Process the files as you want by sharing them to wanted apps.

Now what would be very nice addition is a Bluetooth and NFC. So one could just touch phone/tablet on camera and get all the marked images transferred over WiFi or if nothing was marked in camera, get the phone/tablet to open app and list the photos in the camera memory card. And bluetooth for that you can have connection to phone/tablet in camera and then just mark pictures and select "Share" and they wouldautomaticallyy get in the phone/tablet at the background.  And of course then a feature that you would have automatic transfer at the background for every picture you take in wanted size.
