From Fuji X to Canon RP?

I have a small Fuji X-E3 kit that I use for whenever I want to do some digital photography. I primarily use film right now, mostly really old Leicas, and mostly because I enjoy the way those old lenses render.

I "get along" with my X-E3, but I am not crazy about the crop, the EVF, or the RAW files. I have the software to process them (Iridient's X-Transformer is pretty great for that). I have tried m4/3 in the past, and while I like the size of the equipment, I found the files to be a little "brittle" at times. The Fuji XF lenses are sharp and small (a big plus!), but I would like to be able to use my old Leica lenses on a digital platform without sacrificing field of view or depth of field.

I don't want to go down the M10 route - those cameras are beautiful, but just too overpriced for what they can do. Even the used M240s are twice the price of this new Canon. And I don't need a lot of bells and whistles, as my film use has taught me that photography is very possible with pretty basic equipment!

So then the EOS RP appears. Small, light, full-frame. The Canon sensors seem to have nice colors, and overall a please look to them. I gather the lenses are pretty good, too. I do like what I have seen from the new RF 35mm. The other lenses are just too oversized for me. I travel a lot.

Is the RP going to work for me? Will it do justice to all my old screw mount 50mm and 35mm lenses? Will the Canon lenses convert me? Will it make me want to give up film?

Excuse all of the questions, but I have never used a Canon digital before, and I don't have access to a local shop to try it out.
