Oly should take note of how every new camera released by Fuji has their latest sensor.

Fuji's pretty much the only one doing that.

And Sony and ...

Sony's A6x00 series largely kept sensor tech the same and improved on other features (like IBIS and 4K). This is the exact same strategy Olympus recently took with their entry level cameras. The only legit departure was an improvement in AF (like for A6400), which Olympus does need to work on (they moved the image processor over from E-M1 II for the same amount of focus points, but it's still behind due to Olympus's CDAF tech).

Oh and they might want to look at the new Canon RP. FF mirrorless at LESS than most m43 cameras.

Time to wake up. There is competition.

I'm not sure if people would like if Olympus emulated Canon's strategy. Taking a last gen sensor, no IBIS, crippled 4K and releasing at a low price. The complaint I hear most frequently in this forum is no sensor upgrade to the mid or low end models, not that Olympus is missing a dirt cheap model stripped of features.
