Oh and they might want to look at the new Canon RP. FF mirrorless at LESS than most m43 cameras.

Time to wake up. There is competition.

I think Olympus is not asleep. It's just not thinking straight.

"We choose to be bold" That's the thinking regarding the shock price of the $2000 E-M1 II and PRO lenses for a small sensor system.

"Sensor size is not the answer" That's the comment when the even curiouser E-M1X was released.

Olympus should realise that IQ/$ matters to buyers, even if some don't care about IQ/g.

Also that for the ultimate sports camera, high ISO performance matters.

Crippling the bread and butter models and the ones that can take advantage of M43 size and cost advantages to concentrate on big and niche models is not on.

And also. That the 50 or so fans who still use 43 lenses and buy heavy M43 gear only account for 0.0001% of the potential buyers and therefore they don't matter even though they make a lot of noise here.

The E-M5 III is the real deal. Wrong way - but it's to late to go back now. Whoever is at the head of Olympus should be fired.
