Noise - Full Frame vs M43.
2

Here's a video I found to be interesting and educational. I don't know if Michael is correct what he's saying but it does make sense where things are going.

  • You have both Panasonic and Fuji working together making an organic sensor. A sensor that meant to improve dynamic range, noise and colour? Despite this both companies are now making larger format cameras.
  • Canon are developing an 80-megapixel sensors and my thoughts were, this sensor will have the same iso restrictions as M43 or this could be used in M43. Nah I'm wrong.
  • Then we have Full Frame lenses which appears to be getting bigger and bigger.

In this video Michael talks about sensor size rather than sensels(pixels) size playing a big role in getting cleaner looking images. In the video he compares Full Frame to M43 and explain why the low light cameras e.g. GH5s or the Sony A7s aren't a huge difference to higher megapixel sensors cameras.
