Why would you NEED the 16-35mm F2.8 over the 16-35mm F4?

Hello All,

I'm a current Fujifilm user who is slowly investing into more Sony Gear. I bought the A7III and 55mm f1.8 lens to start. Since then, I've acquired the Zeiss 85mm f1.8, Sony 28mm F2 w/ fisheye adapter, and most recently I acquired the Sony/Zeiss 35mm F1.4. I'm really enjoying the system quite a bit. I did my first real portrait shoot yesterday in the snow and the whole process was just effortless and all of my images look SHARP (On the lcd screen anyways, I'll load them onto my computer tonight)

Anyways, if I continue to invest into more lenses, I need to get a general landscape lens. The 16-35mm came to mind but I see that there's an F4 version and a F2.8 version. If I understand everything correctly, the Sony 16-35mm F4 lens would already be a stop or two better than the Fujifilm 10-24mm F4 right? I think the 10-24mm F4 from Fuji is already fantastic and If the Sony 16-35mm F4 is already better than that, then I'm curious, why would someone need the F2.8 version over the F4?
