*** This Week Through Your M4/3 2019.02.09 ***

Not had much chance to do anything the last couple of weeks. I think I need a job like Nigel's. This is a 4 shot pano taken with my new Voigtlander 50mm f1.2. I'm really pleased with the lens but less so with this composition which needs a bit more of the scene at the bottom.

It was breezy which accounts for the jagged circles around the lights of the crane. For those who know it, that's the O2 (Millennium Dome) in the bottom, right-hand corner.

Best viewed at original size.
Wow so many cranes at work. You pictures give a great yearning for London.

I like the transparency of the building in the foreground.

Yes, I am lucky being self-employed. I am able to be very flexible with my time. But if I take an afternoon off, I then have to work in the evening or at the weekend to catch up. But I love the flexibility of being my own boss, I would find it impossible to go back to being an employee. I just regret not having done it sooner.

Great colour combined with that 7mm perspective.

The 7-14 lens is superb when handled with visual care.

Lovely shot, great composition, 3 boats just in the right place and the train at the right moment.

Panasonic GH1 and 14-45

Thought I would try sooc JPG. Not too bad but I shall stick to my normal raw in future. But it was fun :)

Crikey - that's a grizzly story! I'm sure I saw the ghosts of the victims in your photos.

I've said it before but I'm really struck by the colours you're getting from the Nikon.
I love the colour, smoothness of transitions and tonality too. I did not want to run two systems but it looks like M43 for IBIS interiors, travel and hiking with FF doing the main body of my photography.

But I am also use DXO clear view quite a lot. It is a sort of magical digital polarising filter. It is meant to take haze out of landscape shots, but it takes a lot of glare off of building walls and water surfaces too.

Andalucian stars. Playing with live composite in my em10mkii. I can't believe i didn't bring my tripod from Zambia, so am making do with a coffee table and my manfrotto mini tripod thing.

It looks nice and sharp but the shadows are too deep. Probably a bad choice of subject for a jpg!

Stunning! The coffee table must be solid as a rock!

I absolutely love both shots. Nicely seen, photographed, and developed.

Very interesting sky trails.

I was on my way home when I noticed a nice sunset beginning to develop and had just enough time to pull off and grab a few shots. I'm so glad I always have my camera with me!

Love that first one. Beautiful.

Very nice! You got me with two of my favourites - trains, and sailboats, especially English ones!
