Sport photographer here. I shot raw on both cards (CF + SD). I don't use jpg at all because if I have to deliver a photo asap I can transfer it to the phone via wifi and it gets converted to jpg automatically, so I don't have any benefit from shooting jpg.

Wouldn't use a camera with one single slot for work.

I'd be fine to have it as backup or "b-roll photos" camera. (by "b roll photos" i mean non-critical photos such as pics of the public, fans, candid shots etc etc that I usually take with a prime lens while the 70-200 is on my main camera)
