New 170MB Sandisk Extreme Pro -- any difference?
I got the new SanDisk 64GB Extreme PRO UHS-I Memory Card 170MB Read from B&H. (Also at Amazon but only pre-order for January 31) It is a few $ more than the popular 95MB Extreme Pro. Unfortunately I can not measure any difference with the readers I have. I tried both a Transcend TS-RDF9K reader (which also takes UHS-II, so it should be quite fast internally) and Kingston Mobilite G4 reader (supports UHS-II as well). Below are the TS numbers, very similar to the 95GB model. So I guess the only way to see a difference is with the proprietary Sandisk reader (SDDR-C531-ANANN) which means that it will make no difference in the camera. Correct?
Is there any way to measure the in-camera performance? Thanks, -- R
