When this little fellow was offered on Ebay for very cheap I had to grab it. I must admit, I really like the style of this model. It reminds me of old travel trailers and campers back in the 1960s. The pleated light blue top and chrome bottom is spiffy! It is very simple with Auto ISO and other menu settings. It does have one issue though.....every time the camera is turned on it pops up a "reformat" screen and locks the camera until "Yes" is pressed. It writes to the 256mb card just fine. In order to bypass the screen I have to turn the mode switch down to the green arrow (view) and back up to Still mode. And it can overexpose quite a bit on sunny days.

But it's still a really cool little camera!

Another  version of the Sanyo VPC S1.

Sanyo made about half of all compact digital cameras at the time.
