I bought a recommended Canon lens hood to replace the infamous Olympus 40-150 Pro lens hood that has fallen tompieces and it is a pretty good fit but it tends to come off.

Do you have any suggestions on how to secure it better to the lens?

I have the Fotodiox versions of the Canon lens hoods (deep and tulip). They are tricky to get on right, but once on they do not fall off or wiggle around. If you use them a lot, they might lose their grip.

I suggest buying another; they're cheap. I would get the tulip one; less obtrusive.

Thank you for the suggestion.
