..For a "pro" photographer who's goals is to have his/her pictures be published by "Nat Geo", probably no less than a "full frame" camera will do, and probably will be using "top tier" lenses costing $5,000 to $10,000+..

..so "yes", it all depends on the user's/photographer's "needs" and "expectations"..

..and "yes", a camera is just a "tool"..
