Re: EVF will decide

I think the EVF will decide. "It also works as an extra stabilizer." Fine, but then it must be good also in weak light. "For those wearing glasses, not so useful in strong light." May be the main problem. No strong sun today. Tried with the RX one, because of the tilt you can hold two fingers around, less light in, nice. - A bit slow changing from LCD to EVF? Rainbow tearing? And of course, can you see 100% with glasses, G3 among the better there. Anyway you can get tired of only using EVF, and found horisontal LCD useful in strong light. But some LCDs disappoint in strong light, like NX500. - If you want the best EVF, you need larger and more expensive cameras.

This is my 45~50 anniversary wearing spectacles and changed to progress focal length glasses some 10+ years ago.

I cannot say I love the evf if GX7/85/9 but it is highly usable. The bright, very detail and small evf can make eye tired easily but I don't need to glue the evf for more than a few minutes every shot. I can use them without issue. A larger evf of course would be good, but at a cost of larger size camera. So it will depend on your priority. I pick small size body and so skip GX8 and G85, and take the less comfortable evf of GX7/85. YMMV.

The LCD of GX7, although not as good as GX85, can be quit usable under strong sunlight. It is improved from the older models like GX1.
