Printing, papers and your photography...
8

Over the last few weeks I've been carefully following some of the threads here, with a strong interest in just how people go about their printing, right from initial 'what printer' thoughts, through paper choices and colour management.

I've been lucky enough to get a lot of printers/papers to test, so quite often get to face the 'completely new printer' problem/challenge/enthusiasm

Last year X-Rite asked me to write up some thoughts about how mastering printing could benefit your photography. I've taken this and input from many of the recent discussions in this forum to put together a much longer version of my '5 steps to better photography by printing' notes.

If you've followed this forum recently then I hope some of it looks familiar

If there was message to go along with it, it would be

"Take your time and learn to trust -your- judgement"

Hope it's of interest with respect to some of the questions here...
