The way of the future IS software, Ai and AR, whether we like it or not.

Portrait tricks aside, I'm pretty impressed with iphone XS samples I've seen. It seems the phone companies are doing more than the camera companies to get the more out of these sensors via software trickery.

So I have to ask, how does it compare with your iphone XS?
Both have their pros and cons. I use a third party pp to shoot raw on my IPhone which gives me more control over exposure and focus. I hope to make some side by side print comparisons soon for a more concrete answer. But having 2 cameras on me at all times is a bit of game changer. My old G11 would on occasion follow me everywhere along with my current iPhone. When we were traveling I always had both on me. Now the G9X MKii is so small I almost feel guilty expecting big things from it. With the G9X, I am hunting out imagery everywhere I go, knowing I have a fully featured camera as well as my wide/portrait lenses on the iPhone.
