..personally, I don't even think the FZ80 can even measure up to the SX60.. (see below)

Here are 4 cameras, including your beloved SX60...and P1000 !
I added the FZ80 and P610, owning both .
depends where you look :

ISO 400. Mmmm.
What happened to the resolution? Softer image with the SX60. Can't resolve to number 26. Actually 24 is also soft. Not what i am looking for in detail. Glad i lost that auction on this SX60..and thanks for pointing the Studio chart out, jshen808!
appreciate it.

Yep...just exactly as you stated.....NOT
Care to see more
Didn't think so.
..the FZ80 can't even measure up to the SX60..
..this post will be bookmarked to be reposted for future references..
..Cheers..
Indeed.
Can't wait . Especially when less detail is shown, as DPreview always uses default settings...so SX70 will not look as good as it is....but I bookmarked this already!!
also when will you post images at telephoto end from the SX70 showing at least as much detail as FZ80.Birds would be nice.
I know Avian's skills, but don't know about yours...don't really know you, as you don't know me. But from how you were with Gordon, i suspect at times, you have too much to drink..and then apologize after. That was nice of you to apologize!
SX60 seems better at handling noise..but perhaps at the expense of loosing detail.
Seems the SX70 took the same road, only less adjustments for lowering the NR.
Looking forward to those test shots
Good thing there is RAW!
Here's how you talk to me...so:
now..go and defend your purchase..but waiting to see what you can do with it.
you seen my images..love to see yours (but not the P900 Heron
any comparable images at full telephoto showing detail would be nice. you say you need more reach. i suppose for far away subjects, like birds?
when the weather gets better...I'm sure you will come through
bookmarked...but doubt you will impress with images from your SX70
Like this way of communication, jshen808?
I don't
Will check back in few...when reviews are out and studio scene is up.
By then i might already have better lens for longer reach..then it wont matter what my FZ80 or your SX70 can do
