M50 shutter lag
1

Just got the Canon M50 and it takes pictures in a way I have never seen on any digital camera.  You take a single shot and instead of the screen flashing to black and then displaying your picture for 2 seconds, like all other cameras I have used, it stays live for a short time, then goes to black and then goes to the held picture.  This means every single shot takes longer to review and you don't get the immediate visual feedback of a picture having been taken.  Is there any kind of setting I am missing to make this camera act more normally, or is this how it is?

ANSWER:
Canon EOS M50 (EOS Kiss M)
