In C1 the RAW are default displayed using the Fuji jpg film sim that was enabled in the camera. If you were shooting Acros for example the RAW files will be displayed as the Acros color profile.

You can switch to other color profiles under base characteristics ICC profile curve.

This freaked me out the first time I looked at my RAW files and saw them as B&W.

Thank you very much for your response, that helps at least in a first step "understanding" a little more about C1.

Question to C1: Which of the selectable curves does then represent the original raw file? Auto takes the used film simulation, do that one doesn't show the original raw file. The only ones I could then think about would be Film Standard or Linear Response.

But your information still does not answer

- why does C1 handle the X-T3 files different than the ones from the X100T?

- why is also Photo Mechanic handling the files in a different way?

- while on the other side LR seems to handle the files of both cameras the same way?

Is it potentially because the X-T3 is a new camera and the file handling has still not be implemented completely in programs like C1 and PM?
