Really? Link? How about you got to Flikr, 500px wherever and show me the amount of vertical street phitography. Than show me the comparisons between vert & horz, then can you provide proof that they used a GX8 or a Pen to achieve these vertical shots?

i do not think flikr is very representative of the strret photographer’ market. I prefer to look at photo boooks

Not that I'm advocating Flickr but how many people are still buying actual physical books these days?

First of all , one does not have to buy books to look at some of them

Books sure but real books? Sadly, the reign of books are over just like film.

I do not think the analogy is that accurate for photo books. Sure the sales are decreasing but i would be surprised if it is in the same proportions as film cameras 😀

Sure, there will always (hopefully) be people still buying some but most people, specially today's generation will only be reading digitally. Street photography will also be consumed digitally by today's generation.

Well maybe. But what I can tell you is how surprised I am at how much people spend on equipment, changing it every 6 monthes or so, versus on things which can really improve one’s photography( photo books, classes, wirkshops..)
