I think that the service request ticket is referring to actual service being requested possibly under warranty where such details would be required. The lens mount conversion service is a standalone paid for service, nothing to do with faults or warranty work.

I am just about positive that the mount conversion service had those stipulations.

Why?

Because I was going to buy a much more common used EF mount lens and have it converted to SA mount. The fine print took away that option, as I would not have been the original purchaser, nor would I have a receipt from an authorized dealer.

I would simply suggest clarifying whether or not Sigma will indeed convert a Global Vision lens to a different mount with nothing more needed than paying the fee. If so, then that is a nice change.

I don't need to have anything converted at this time.

Waiting for the reviews for the 70-200. I'd like one in SA mount. And camera info
