DSLR or rangefinder form factor

Sometimes bigger is better

It seems to go against the grain with a lot of personal preferences here, but I like the SLR form factor much more than the rangefinder. No doubt, the X-Pros, the X-Es and the X100s are beautiful machines, but every time I take them in my hand it just doesn't click with me as well. Maybe it's an acquired taste, though

One of the reasons I personally chose Fuji was that it gave me the option of going small. I don't have a particular aversion to larger lenses when I'm on a dedicated occasion, but I needed something that could become a small walkaround camera when required. Funnily enough, though, the X100s and X-Es I tested almost felt too small; in comparison, the X-T body felt just chunky enough to be comfortable, but small enough for portability.

While not directly related to the form factor, I also don't "get" the rangefinder OVF. The electronic finders feel much more natural to shoot with. If the X-E3 had a X-T size beautiful EVF, though, I may have been swayed.
