If one of the current model you current use is no longer being made ...

... would you look for a model within your current make?

I remember when I used the Nikon D300s and there was this long wait for a successor, I played with the D800 for a little while which didn't really work for me as the lenses I had were not suitable enough.

I left Nikon after nearly 30 years.

I am on the fence as to what I would do if my current X-Pro2 (get another real cheap???) packed up. Chances are i would also be looking at the A7 III then. There is of course the glass but since I am a prime shooter I would be equally happy with, say, the 85/1.8 and the 25/2 Zeiss and maybe add a SIGMA Art (85/1.4??).

The X-Pro2 is one of those things that can grow on you and when I saw a fellow photographer use the X-T3 recently I didn't feel any urge to "want" the camera.

So should Fuji dump the X-Pro line - for whatever reason, sales, people have grown up and want DSLR form factor etc - I would certainly be looking at other options (the Z 24Mpx??).

I must say, I really, REALLY like the X-Pro2!!!!!!

Anybody else who might jump ship if their favourite camera body is no longer available?
